The Mercedes-Benz SLK 200 Manual at Randburg Autolink is absolutely stunning to look at from the outside and this is reflected by the interior also. For the first time i believe that this model from Mercedes appeals not only to the women, but also men are looking at the SLK in a different light.The exterior itself has smoother lines than its predecessor, and this is shown in all models across the range, for example the CLK and SL.
The boot especially in the old model was extremely boxy at the back to house the roof. But the new style roof takes up less space in the boot and therefore is more compact, which results in more space for shopping when the roof is down.The interior reflects the exterior, with a smooth more rounded dash board that feels solid and well put together. The cabin space feels roomier and sportier, especially with having the optional extra of leather bucket seats which adds to the luxury of this vehicle.One of the best optional extras you can buy is the air scarf and heated seats, especially when your driving on a cold day. This is activated within three minutes and can make a difference if you opt for leather seats.
The CD auto changer is also up to date with the latest technology, as it is tiny compared with competitors on the market, and fits nicely into the glove compartment with no comprimise on space.One of the best elements of this car is the driving experience, it holds the road fantastically and the handling is one of a kind. The new version also holds the road with a greater ability.The roof is also one of the key features to stand out in a crowd, especially if you are in a crowded car park where many people are staring as you put your roof down, either via the button on the centre console in the car, or via a new addition on the key fob. This also guarantees female and male attention.
The only small disadvantage i have found from this beautifully crafted car is the very annoying aerial on the back of the car, but is the only thing that detracts from the style of the car and stands out because it is black.
